Just did an oil change on my car (318i M10) but the oil service light wont go away. I backed off the oil filter and started the engine to bleed the air out but nothing happened. What am i missing?

Just follow the instruction here

You can use just a wire or something similar to connect the pins.

This and put a fuse between the wire just in case you connect the wrong pins.

paper clip didnt do anything for me

this book i have says copper wire will work. i pretty much just ignore mine tho. maybe i had a "fake" paper clip the first and only time i tried
