Is there a way to test and make sure everything is working on a gauge cluster when its been removed from the car?

you could probably do it using something like this:
Assembled JimStim! Simulates multiple crank trigger wheels, easy breakout access to all signals, excellent testing and prototyping tool!
always wanted to try with mine but I don't want to pull my cluster just to find out. You'd need to provide power/ground and of course the RPM and speedo signals (etc), it could do that easily.
