Is it possible for the ignition switch to be suck on accessory because everything still works in my car with the key out.

It is possible but I would guess a relay might be the culprit!The difference between porcupines and BMWs is that porcupines have the pricks on the outside! -

If the car's wiring is in stock condition, a stuck relay won't be the cause. In that case a bad ignition switch becomes the likely suspect. However, if the car has aftermarket electronics they may be improperly installed and then anything is possible.The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

It has a alarm? Also someone wired up the lights so you can run lows with the highs? Its possable has a few electrical problems from the previous owner. I gotta figure out why the rear windows dont seem to be getting power.84 318I Delphin RIP

OK now its not cranking all the time? I have to wiggle the key changed relays didnt fix it.
I think im just going to have to get a switch?
I traced all the wires deleted the alarm and well I dont see anything wrong with it I can start the car with a remote starter no problems . so it has to be the switch.84 318I Delphin RIP
