Oh ok, you're just getting dogged by bureaucracy and stupid time wasting stuff now. WIth what you have, you're good to go. Put pressure on both sides so you get this resolved. When your dad comes back, at least you'll have the gruntwork outta the way and can get it resolved hopefully...good luck again.

I'm thinking it was definatly her fault..... Doesnt matter even if you slammed on the brakes, she did not leave enough room between you, and did not have control of her car.

Who decided that? The woman clearly did not have control of her car and was not following at a safe distance considering the conditions of the road. Even if you did start then stop for traction, she should have enough distance to stop.

Well he can say it was your fault all he wants, but in the eyes of ANY insurance company, it will be her fault. My roommate just got rearended, and my Dad has been rearended twice in one month... I know how the system works. You should be fine.

What kinda back assward piggy did you talk to. Just about every state in the union it would automatically be her fault for rearending you even if you locked up all 4 for no reason at all. Its her responsibility to not hit you.

Are you in Canadia? I dont know the laws there but here there is a $2000 small claims limit and no lawyers are allowed. I would just call up her agent and give them a choice to pay the $900 now or pay the $900 plus $1100 in compensatory damages in court (i.e. inconvience and gas getting this resolved and a rental for when your car is in the shop).

                    Preach It, Brotha Ryan!

Exactly! Just don't admit fault to her boner husband. Actually, if you have their insurance information there is really no reason for you to be in contact with them at all. Just talk with her insurance company only, they'll take care of you because it was her fault... that is unless you were driving wrecklessly, which we all know you weren't. Just don't even talk to that bastard anymore.

I dunno the cop kept saying that theirs no need to report an accident under 1000. He knows my face. I have his badge number and a report number so its ok.

Ya its all in the insurance companies hands now.

Good things tht come from this. They are replacing that entire pannel. and the rubber underneath it. If what I saw on their screen is correct that whole pannal includes part of the trunk thats under the trunk seal. Under my trunk seal their is some rust that'll be gone.

Im just glad My car is still on the road!

                      Sold it.

Yeah you are lucky with that one, as Dave's car showed being rear-ended is an easy way to lose your car.

I would just make sure its apparent to them that they will be paying to repair your car, one way or another. Tthey are just bloodsuckers who couldnt get into law school. Their job is to NOT pay out money whenever possible, just make sure they know that it will cost them regardless.

That being said, I have to pay my Premium for the next 6 months. 8) This is what I see when I log into my page, that instills confidence:

That damage does not look all that bad.

Before i owned my car it was rear ended also and on that same side it kinda looks like your car with it being pushed in by the left tail lense except it suffered a bit worse then yours and i dont know how in the heck it happened but both rear fenders suffered damage along with the rear end and it was bad enough i had to hammer out the rear right quater panel to fit the replacement right tail lense into place, even the left rear tire even got cut up by the fender somehow but like i said its a total mystery to me on how a car could get that much damage sitting in a parking lot.

The car i guess was in a parking lot and some guy backed into it with probably a truck and then after he hit the car he just drove off but that makes me wonder now of how much this will cost me to get it repaired as your minor dent (or so it looks) costs $800 to fix.

Anyway good luck on getting the car fixed up

                                dang, man. That's terrible.

Shit has really hit the fan here in Idaho. Snow has fallen, and many people, myself included, weren't ready. I can handle the snow, but my tires are terrible (I drove all thru the Minnesota winter last year in my dad's 535i, but with Blizzaks). I've been VERY lcuky so far, I've been able to control my car very well, expect today. Rear end flipped out and I bumped a curb, I basically just drove up on to it. I felt it was no use fighting the slide, cause these tires don't seem to be able to recover at all. No suspension damage, and I think my bottlecap is fine - I'm thinkin just some alignment issues. However, my friend that drives a 1995 Honda Accord - his car's totalled after he spun off the road going 60 mph and hit a pole. He is really lucky to be alive.

On another note, however, I hate seeing E30's have to go through crap like that.

And, yes, I think its all her fault too. Don't let them do that to ya.
