How to break axle nut loose?

Are you sure? Post a pic. I can take apart the bearing by hand until its assembled.

Oh so it's not too hard to take apart as is? I can get a pic later today, no balls fell out, just the inner race pushed out a few centimeters which caused the play in the hub. I'm going to re-seat the inner race and try to press the hub back in later, I just thought that if the inner race separates the bearing is considered shot but I may be wrong.

What do ya know, I pressed the race back in with the hub and it rides fine, better yet it got rid of that awful whining sound, ended up being both rear wheel bearings. Thanks for the help.

Just make sure you torqued it good enough.

Ha, I'm just glad it's over with and the noise is gone, time to move onto the next thing.
