So I hopped in my '87 325 to move it to wash it tonight, and everything was fine -- until I turned the key. The starter relay sounded like it clicked once, and then all electrical power was lost. The starter didn't start to turn, it just went "click" and everything died. I went back about 15 minutes later (after quick-washing the car in the spot it was in), and power was back. I tried to start it again, and the same thing happened, and now the power's out for good. Anyone have any ideas? I checked the fuse box, but nothing's blown. Is there a "main" fuse, and if so, where is it located?

What's funny is the car completely remedied itself about 15 minutes later. Works perfectly fine now.

Loose connection somewhere. Check all the battery terminals, and all the terminals on teh little power box on teh pass side under the hood.Originally posted by e30MattWhat's funny is the car completely remedied itself about 15 minutes later. Works perfectly fine now.Adam Fogg- '88 M3
