    ICV.....whinning?

    should my idle control valve be whinning? just a low electrical humm. still....

      Mine does it as well. The one on my Monza too. I think it's normal.

        Vibration from the ICV when the ignition is on is normal.
        The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

              yeah, I knew it operated somewhere in the 90-something hz range, then I saw a BMW doc that stated all the PWM valves (ICV, EVAP, etc) worked at ~100hz, and then somebody posted they scoped it at exactly 98.3hz. :D
