If youy can't get the stub out w/o pulling the hub you will need a new hub, There is zero chance of pulling the hub and not damaging the bearing.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

just remove the hub and get a new one, if that broken lug is in there good fuck it dont waste ur time fucking around and getting stressed out, take the big ass hub nut off and replace , then get ur ass on blunt tech and order new lug bolts. might cost a small amount but sometimes replacing is better than trying to save a part.

Sagaris, that is exaclty the picture and video I had found on the net. Thanks. I am going to proceed as suggested. I shall give it a shot today and if it is a no go, I will order up a new hub. BTW, skf hubs are about $125 and Meyle are about $65. Any problem with Meyle?

Autozone has a Timken/FAG wheel bearing assembly for $125 as well so keep that in mind as far as price/availability are concerned. I only use SKF Timken FAG or Fafnir bearings. I don't have experience with Meyle wheel bearings but if you have any desire at all to take corners I would stick with the high quality names.

I drilled it out to where it was paper thin and then used a tap to cut and shread what was left and it eventually pushed what was left out. The threads are not perfect, but they are pretty darn good. But now I need to do the same thing to the hex screw that holds the rotor on. Anybody know what the thread size and pitch is?
