Dyno Sheet, what u guys think ?

Here is a dyno sheet from my mates 325iS Evo1, 2.7lt stock bottom end, Ported and polished head, and 288deg cam. Also runnin 325iS Evo2 AFM (same as M30).

The first run is just with the head work, and the second run is after the car had been tuned.

      Tuned...meaning what exactly?

Good numbers, but I want to see the A/F ratios. The power is falling off far too much for a 288 cam and M30 AFM up top, I'm thinking the fuel is off.

Just general tuning of the motor, to get it running sweetly.

BTW our height above sea level is 1753m ... not sure if it has been corrected for sea level though

Nice, so you guys burned a custom chip for your application? Good stuff.

Even with the 2.7 I'd still expect a better 5500+ performance from that motor given the power under that, you may have a fuel issue there.

Well surprisingly we were told we need to upgrade the injectors 8) ... So that will be done, and retuned. BTW over here we all our chips r custom tuned to each individual car

              Haha, I knew it!

I had the same issues on the dyno with my stock injectors, they ended the fun at the exact same RPM. With the 2.7, you're really abusing them! I'd run some 21.5lb M52/S52 injectors in your car, just for the extra headroom and the fact that you are getting a custom chip burned (no worries about running rich).

And I'm happy to hear you guys are doing proper engine management over there. Guys here still seem to think that throwing random parts at an engine with off the shelf software will work properly.

                Nice power for those mods.

Well the injectors that come on this car, are already uprated due to it being a 2.7lt from factory... I actually think they r the same injectors in the Alpina B3 2.7lt.? Were gonna upgrade the injectors to M50B25 ones... cause we've been told they flow enough (from the tuner)... plus they aren't as expensive as the S50 ones (that I bought, and then sold again :) , then got me some 328i ones )

From the factory the stock figures for the 325iS Evo1 were 145kw, OTF... So not bad at all.

Just to clarify, I don't know much about the SA market engines. They actually made a "2.7i type" stroker? Cool.

Also, we need a bit of clarification on the S50 terminology. :P S50 here means the weak 240hp 3.0 US-market engine, which shares the exact same injectors as the M50B25. Similar with the S52, I mean the 240hp variant which uses M52 injectors.

The M52 injectors you just bought ARE 21.5lb/hr, you're good to go. 8)

Yeah, we got a 325iS Evo 1 and 2, which r basically Alpina B3 2.7lt ... they were built for our touring car racing.

                      I'm talking Euro specs, S50B30, and S50B32.

                      I've got M50B25 injectors, which r good...
