Please help with water leak into drivers footwell

I have removed the firewall panel and have cleaned out the channel by the exterior windshield vents. But, I still get some water that seems to drip down by the gas pedal. The passenger side is dry. Where should I check for the posssible source?

    What did you find?
I just pulled the covers off my car from storage to find the drivers side carpet wet.

leaking water or coolant? If coolant, obviously a leaking heater core or heater valves going to and from the core. The plastic one can crack or the gaskets can rot away. Its a sticky annoying job but easy if your aren't fat.

Todd - what did you find? I had my car in the garage for several months, and when I ran it, I got a little coolant down by the gas pedal. I am certain it's not rain water. Did you resolve the issue?

Take a look at your heater core. I am sure that it is cracked.

My car had a crack in the fire wall footwell seam. I ended up fiberglassing it. It is 95% gone.

My driverside was the same issue, but up high. I re seam sealed it.
Passenger side was failed seam sealer where the water goes out from the air intakes into the fenderwell, pooling at the ac grommet and dripping in.
Also the heater core gasket at the firewall is........old and leaks in a heavy rain if the car is facing uphill.
