Mock Mod list, What do you think?

So I have compiled a list of mods I want to get for my car. I know that modding a M20 doesn't make much sense to some but Its my daily and I will be doing a swap but I'm gonna wait a while because I wanna do a big boy S85 V10 down the road. So in the interim this is what I've compiled and would like to know what you guys think, remember I am somewhat of a noob. So here goes nothing.....

    Magnaflow 14815
    Miller MAF
    W.A.R.
    CAI
    Castro's Airbox
    Wilwood BBK
    19lb Injectors
    Ireland Engineering shorty headers
    UUC short throw

And off the top of my head i think that's it for right now. Still in the early stages so be gentle, and if there is anything I should add please let me know. I'm not modding for extreme power but just for that little extra oomph for lack of better words.

          To add to nando's post:

          No need for the headers.
Make/purchase an Airbox for the "CAI" (look up Castros)
A muffler is always nice, so I guess.

more specifically IE shorty headers aren't going to do anything for you at all. I had them - exact same performance as stock, but they turn to rusty brown poo. I'd rather have $100 ebay headers, at least they're long enough to increase midrange torque.

CAI - castro's airbox is nice, but if your engine is stock internally, it's not going to be a large difference. they do sound nice.

muffler - if yours are rotted, it makes sense, but I'm not a big fan of magnaflow and especially not that particular model. a single 2.25" inlet is smaller than stock, so you increase the restriction, but at the same time it's way louder. If you want to do exhaust, the proper way would be to do a single 2.5" pipe all the way from the headers back, with two mufflers and a cat if you prefer. It will sound better and weigh a lot less than stock, which on a stock engine is where you'll see the biggest improvement.

Thanks I'll def take the header deal into consideration and eBay it, on the exhaust, do you know who would sell the piping and a cat? And what mufflers would you suggest?

None of the mods you project would have have as much affect on performance and having a rfull rebuild of the head, assuming that the cylinders and rings aren't worn. Compression (dry and wet) along with a leak down test will tell if the engine is in condtion where a head rebuild is worthwhile. And if it isn't nothing else is going to help either.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
