Will the flywheel from an eta work for a 5 speed swap on a 325i? If so, is there a major difference between the eta flywheel and the 325i flywheel?

Re: Flywheel Question
It will work, yea. The eta flywheel may or may not be a single mass, the I cars used dual mass. Shouldnt make a difference though as far as if it will work.Originally posted by Ritalin KidWill the flywheel from an eta work for a 5 speed swap on a 325i? The only other difference is that E cars have a pin on the edge of the flywheel for the sensors to pick up. Doesn't make a difference on I cars, but you can't use an I flywheel on and E car because it won't have the pin.Adam Fogg- '88 M3

The one I had was either 323i or 320i, I still don't know how I got it. but it was very lightweight and had the same bolt pattern, spacing, and diameter of a 325i flywheel. I sold it to Coldaccord not sure if he ever used it or not.85 325e 2.7 ITB'd stroker
