Resetting your ECU would not make it sire the fuel injectors if it wasn;t before. You can do it anyway though. It won't hurt anything.

I didn't mean pull an injector. Just remove the electrical plug that connects to the injector. There are six of them, evenly spaced beneath your fuel rail. your fuel rail feeds into them. You are going to test the harness part of the injector... since it provides the signal and power to the injector.

its hard as hell for him to pull one injector wire as he has the later newer style injector harness that has them all tied together.

If you look under the throttle body, you will see a round connector, try reseating that, they all share a common ground and if that fails, you have no injector pulse.

        JC you are the king!!!!!!!!!!!!!

EDIT: Thanks E30SRPower for all your help as well.

I had ruled out that connector becasue that is the one I had paid the stealer $550 to replace. Apparently that is why you should fix things yourself.

Thanks again to both of you!!!

thats all it was, a loose connector? wow.. and yeah, you could have gotten a used harness for $150 and put it in yourself. mine was gimped up too, but once it dried out it was fine.

Ouch. Dealership work can be rough on the wallet for sure.

Haha, this goes to show you how much faster SPECIFIC application experince can help you. I have general automotive and nissan experience. So I was slowly isolating the problem... Then JC comes in, one shot and it's done.

            Good Job JC

Congradulations on fixing your car dude. enjoy those konis!

I am loving the KONIs. As soon as I got it started ran a few twisties that are real close. I love the adjastability of them. Still trying to figure out the best setup, but wow are they fun. Gotta love seeing a 15mph suggested speed and hit it doing 45. Hahaha.

Oh, and by the way, James had given me 2 or 3 other ideas last night through a PM so he cheated by getting it right on his first post. ;)

                Kickass, I'm glad its fixed.

That a common problem on those harnesses, as they share a common ground and all.

                  help !!! car wont start

hey there!!! Try replacing the main relay. Mine went bad "overnight" and after checking everything under the sun narrowed it down to a bad relay.

                  good luck!!!
I keep my sunroof open so they can hear me scream!!!

A little plastic washer came out when I took it off that I believe holds it in a little sturdier. I am gonna take it in to the stealer next week and heve them put it back in. I don't really feel like spending the time to do that. I figure sitting back and eating cookies and have someone I already paid to do it do it right. I'm doing things Grant style. :D
