    Black Windshield Washer Reservoir

I looked up the part number of the reservoir in this picture but I only come up with the white translucent reservoirs. Does anyone know what reservoir this is:

Thanks. Now I have to figure out the best way to paint plastic without having it chip easily.

I would either use Fusion (for plastic) Satin Black or some SEM Trim Paint. I've had wonderful results with both if prepped properly.

That tank does look great in that car...

How do you prep the plastic other than washing it with dawn?

After wiping it down with IPA, I was just gonna use adhesion promoter then trim paint. I was even going to do the coolant reservoir that way.

I think it would look good to leave a vertical stripe clear so you can see the fluid level like on vintage Ducati fuel tanks.

So wipe it down with strong rubbing alcohol then hit it with some Dupli-Color CP199 adhesion promoter then spray it with some Fusion black spray paint. Word.

Yup.. Clean is the key. I like the stripe in the paint idea. Though, I would spring for a new level (or just one that works) since we have a little light that tells us the business. . .

Don't use paint, it will chip eventually. Use vinyl dye, works awesome on light colored plastics. I used black vinyl dye to turn a beige cdrom drive black for a carputer install and even after 10 years of disc changes no fading or chipping was visible.
