my odometer stoped working about 150 to 200 miles ago and today on my way home from work started working again for about 15 miles then stoped again and i have no idea what i need now????

Broken gears? My old e30 did that before I got new gears. Could just be getting caught on the broken tooth, then eventually skipping over. Just a thought.
