right part? / process to swap door connector

First, is part #15 the correct part for the body side of the door connector?
Second, how hard is it to put this new piece in? Just take the pins out of the old one and pop them into the corresponding slot in the new one?

Hmmm. Yes but "just" taking the pins out requires purchase or construction of a tool to depress the barbed pin for removal.

Yeah I figured it would be a special tool to do that, I also have another 318 at my disposal for reference, any idea what that tool is called?

Nope. If I recall correctly, I made one out of an old metal ball-point pen refill. Or maybe I bought a piece of brass tubing from the hardware... Still not simple though.

Radioshack has a pin extractor for $6. I used that to change over some pins on mine.

BTW you have to take apart the connector before you try removing any of the pins.

Yeah, i dont think I'm going to have to remove any pins, I just need that outer sleeve of that connector with those little lock tabs to secure it to the door jamb, being old and brittle I cracked a few so now I have to jiggle it to get my window to roll down.
