E30 cabin filter need help w part #'s

    Hi everyone

I was told that you can put the filter in a AC car by removing the compressor and using a plastic plate you can purchase from BMW

Does anyone have the part #?

    Thanks

Removing the compressor? ummm. Maybe you mean evaporator? That's not a really easy to get to part.

    But IIRC e30's never had that option. Maybe part number: 4 8 15 16 23 42 ;)

      lol

non AC 30's had them, and one person on e30tech said it is possible

"If the car didnt come equipped with A/C then it could have a cabin air filter. The parts for the conversion are around $100. The filter is 20 or so, and the cover plate is $80.

I just used the A/C cover plate slightly modified.

No dust or other crap comes thru my vents."
