I think my guibo needs to be replaced.

I got in my car to leave class today when at like 3-5mph, i hear a loud banging/knocking under my handbrake handle. It only occurs when I start accelerating and stops after about 10mph. From what I read, this isn't a symptom of a bad guibo, but who knows. What do you guys think?

I had this too but I didn't do anything and now it knocks at any speed but stops when I depress the clutch or let off the gas. I am replacing my guibo, subframe mounts and bushings next week so hopefully that will take care of it.

That is usually the symptom of a failed center support bearing mount. In almost all cases that failure is the result of binding u-joints in the drive shaft. Replacing the CSB will result in temporary relief, but the new part will have a short life until the drive shaft is replaced.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
