    Tach twitch when ignition is turned off

    Hi all,

    Getting my car back together. Im coming across something weird and want to know if anyone has experienced it.

    when i turn the key to off , the tach and mpg needles will twitch.

    I have the same issue after i swapped to a low mileage m42. I'm guessing it has to do with wiring or grounds ??? I learned to live with it year later with No problems. And it's not cluster based I have a rebuilt cluster.

      Not an issue. It's normal. You just haven't noticed it before.

          same twitch, all good.

            Phew! Im so relieved to read that it is normal. I thought i f***kd the wiring harness when converting the plug.
