That's his <50 dollar "budget" dry sump system.

          Rotfl.

Nothing says budget like no oil. Oil's for chumps and pussies.

notice the only things on there that will effect dyno readings (ie give it power) are the e36 afm which can be had for under 50 but is useless on its own and teh engine management WHICH WAS AN EXCEPTION, thus this thread proves NOTHING!!!!!!11!1!one

Pretty much any real mod he has done and is planning on doing is breaking the $50 rule.

I think it's funny. His "budget" build consists mostly of parts that are above his "50 dollar" rule and are done by a shop. Meanwhile, he calls me an asshole that spends tons of money on an e30.

I do. Tons. Examples of my massive checkbook modding are as follows:

3 sets of 14 inch wheels at about 10 bucks a peice.

Used take off R compounds at 5 bucks a piece soaked in formula V for track tires. OEM brake components, a miscolored front valence to repair the one I killed at putnam. A high dollar Corbeau forza track seat. Takeoff harnesses, used Jstocks. I'm looking at picking up a 3k conversion van to haul the car on a uhaul trailer.

Man, I know nothing about budget beating.

Hey guys, I was sick for a week or so so I haven't been able to do much but there are some new developments for the E30.

First, The exhaust system is being redone b/c of a few new changes I would like to make. There are now high flow 200cell cats availible on ebay for the same exact price of $37 and I am going to swap over to that. Also I will be getting rid of the middle exhaust flant and also getting rid of the ebay resonators and running a 22" magnaflow resonator. This should greatly improve the E30's overall exhaust performance and also make it a higher quality unit and help refine the sound much more and bring the volume down a bit.

The stock fans are being dumped and im putting in the Ebay spal-like fan the next few days. I also stripped ou the remaining of the interior and took out about another 60-70lbs approxiately. The AC compressor will be coming out soon. Once the car's cooling system is taken care of I will put the car back on the dyno with the new exhaust system in place. I am still looking for E34 auto TPS but its proving harder than I expected. More updates coming soon.

oh and FYI. not a single mod has broken the $50 rule, yet. Once i've done all the $50 mods I will dyno the car. After that I will stop the project and do the more serious mods i've been planning to do AFTER the dyno b/c of the new products I am developing.

Please tell...exactly what products are you developing?

Oh, and did you buy your suspension one shock and spring at a time?

no, you will have to wait for the products until they are developed just like everyone else. I will be testing them on my car (one of the only reasons i bought the E30).

Both fans were removed today gonna add the electric fan soon. Should have pics soon of the car with its updated mod list and a spreadsheet of price breakdown and etc. Hoping to get dyno done once the cooling problems have been addressed (dont' want it to get hot on the dyno).
