i hope he proves all the haters wrong. there are some people on this forum that talk crap and have nothing to back it up. Its his car and he knows what he's doing and so what that he walking off the beaten path. Plus what do you guys have to loose? If his car works out great then you know you can get cheap parts off ebay and still have a nice car. I would like to see what the muffler sounds like and how it lasts. But guys really, what are you trying to do by bashing him? Do you want him not to do it? Then you won't know the quality of the parts. All of you know that there are lots of posts asking how good ebay parts are. Most people don't know but budget beater has been kind enough to be the guinne pig.

Thread has been cleaned up - a lot.

I respect what you're doing and everyone else should too. Not to mention the fact that you took 6 pages of verbal abuse from everyone that posted and kept your cool.

 from me - keep us updated. Anyone who wants to shit on this thread, send me a PM. I'm DONE letting this shit go on.

thanks guys for the support. Ya people always ask "how are these ebay parts etc etc" and i want to prove that they can be just as effective as some of those other performance parts. Lets face it not EVERYONE who owns an E30 has a ton of $$$, most don't. They may not be as fancy as the $$$$$ parts but at least they are just as effective (if not then pretty darn close). I'm doing this for all those guys that can't afford the high dollar stuff. Think of me as a Robin Hood of the E30 masses :) . anyways ttyl on the flip side.

I know I'll flamed for posting an eBay link but I found a car that looks ok but there are plenty of eBay parts on it.

                    hey mang,
besides ebay there's tons of other great places to get parts from. "pick a part" yards being one of them.

                    a few weeks ago picked up a sweet $ 600+ Super Sprint muffler for $ 75 :)

I strongly agree. eBay isn't the only place to get cheap parts.
I have found many leather rear seats with the fold down armrest, an m3 rear seat, vinyl sport seats, various fenders, and other pieces. I even stripped down a Euro e30 at the Pick-N-Pull. Get a set of Euro bumpers, grill, check panel...

Anyone can buy cheap parts on ebay. It really takes effort to find truly good deals though.
                      just my $0.02
