    need help from an eta owner. part id

    so i am a couple hours from my car and my gf is driving it. she told me that a coolant hose from the thermostat to the firewall that goes under the intake has burst. i want to order it so it will hopefully be at my house by sarurday so i can do the job. any help is greatly appreciated. thinking its part number 18. its called a return hose

    Where there are one there are many. Change all old hoses and save yourself headaches later

      seriously my gf drove it for a while home and it over heated quite a few times. now it won't start. i'm not buying a bunch of hoses when the motor could be junk. lol. just sucks i know what its like under there..... hoses everywhere

        arent the only two that go to the firewall the two for the heater core?

          yes that is correct. I hope she didn't blow the head gasket.

            so one of the hoses from the heater core must go to the thermostat. it looks like every other hose in that pic goes somewhere. someone will chime in

              a better pic. which one of the two hoses from the heater core go under the intake and to the thermostat housing?

                if she overheated it a bunch of times, it's better to just verify that it's working before ordering any parts. check your oil for coolant. pull the plugs, crank engine, see if any coolant comes out. etc.

                you can run a cold car for a few minutes without any coolant at all.

                  You want hose #18 in the first picture--11 53 1 289 377. Don't be fooled by the crummy drawing that looks nothing like what's in the car.
