trunk panel clips

trying to remove the inner panel, not exactly sure how the clips come off in this photo:



are they pushed down? or pulled up?

push the middle part down with a nail and pull up the outer, or push from the inside of the trunk when you remove the trunk panel.

really? i thought you pulled the middle stem up and then the round part will come out
