If he is crying about paying a locksmith, he can't afford AAA.
your right i cant afford AAA or a locksmith. good call bro! thank you too the guy with the information on the 2 keys for $50. thats affordable still dont want to pay for it! not to mention they are only open on monday. can the make a new key from the vin number or i tow the car there?
Your dealer will order a key by the car's VIN. It takes a few days to get the keys as I think they come from NJ. You will need ID and proof of ownership. Your title is best, but registration should work.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

A new ignition lock will not really help you because its very hard to remove the old one without having a key. BMW is your best bet. I paid $70 for mine to be cut from the VIN and took few days
Thank you. i will keep your username and hit you up if there is any issues at BMW. is it all the door locks and trunk as well as ignition?
Keep your original keying because, as you found out, you can always order a key from the dealer with proper documentation. Even if you ever end up buying a whole new set of locks for you car, rekey them to your old key (it's not difficult to do).
Das ist nicht nur nicht richtig, es ist nicht einmal falsch!
