relocating ground from shock tower to battery tray

relocated mine behind the m3 cover...except I made it to close to the cover >:-O

the stock ground point is polished and plated. you'd be better off leaving well enough alone, unless you have a specific reason to move it. "it looks cooler" isn't a valid reason.

I'm in the same boat the op is in, trying to fit the m3 battery tray cover. What would you suggest doing in this situation.

I see two options. A) Relocate the ground to behind the cover or B) extend the ground wires by splicing in sections of wire to be able to mount it at the stock ground point on the strut tower.
