Its been raining for almost a week now, I go out to my car and noticed that the area behind my passenger seat is soaked. I pulled up my floormat there and it looks like its been going on for a while. Where is this water coming from? I thought I remembered hearing about this before, but I couldnt find it using search.

I had this exact same problem. Turned out to be my tailight seals. They were bad, very bad. So basically any water in the trunk will eventually make its way into the passenger side rear foot area. Also check to make sure your sunroof drains are not clogged. This is also a common problem.

Another spot to check is the elephant trunk looking rubber drain under the hood. It is located on upper part of the firewall, on the passenger side. It basically drains water that goes down the vents by the windshield wipers. Sometimes it can get clogged, or even a super heavy rain can cause it to back up. But if that clogs, then the front footwell would be wet too.
...just another spot to be aware of.-Brandon
