    Locks question

So my door is double locked on inside and outside and I am getting tired of climbing over passenger seat. I got the door card partially off but cant figure out how to get the door unlocked. Can someone point an arrow in this image to show my what to move to get the door unlocked.

Edit: Okay I realize this picture already has an arrow but I took it from another website as it was the best pic I could find of the lock area.

I think it would be more effective if you could post a pic of your actual lock mechanism, so that we can see what might be broken/missing. I just went through this a few months back when I rebuilt my lock cylinders. It's possible you are missing the spring that moves the actuator for lock/double lock (as in pic above). Also very possible that your actuator is frozen up. This was the case on my passenger door.

The yellow is showing the double lock. If you coud somehow turn that clockwise, I think you will be good to go.

I got the rest of the door card off and I looked at the yellow part. When I put the key in the lock and turn it counter clock wise the piece you pointed to will go up a bit but not much. Does that piece have to go up more? I can see the metal piece connected inside door handle try to move but there is a stopper stopping it from moving. The stopper is connected to the inside door lock (the black piece that moves up and down) but I cant get that to move much either. I feel like I am rambling and not sure how to explain. I will show a picture when I get home. I just need to get this door open.

Also, this started after one night when I locked the driver side door with the key. When I came back and tried to unlock it the door would no longer open

So I decided to just take the lock cylinder out and hope that would fix my problems. No go. Moving that latch up or down does nothing and the door is still locked inside and out. I took it to my mechanic and he said he will research it but we may have to bust the door handle assembly. Doesn't seem like a big deal because they are not expensive to replace but anyone have any last ideas?

Wait. Are you saying that you have removed the clip (shown in the guy's hand) freeing the lock cylinder from the car door and still cannot unlock the door?

If you remove the lock cylinder from the door, surely you can then unlatch the door. Can't you?

But if lock cylinder is removed the only thing causing the double lock is that arm indicated with the yellow arrow in picture in post 3 which can now be moved by hand, no?
