Lurked for a while. Now I need some help.

ok, I have an 87 eta. It's misfiring just a little bit and i can not seem to figure out why. I have changed the plugs, wires, cap, and rotor button and it still seems to be missing. Maybe a sticking valve? any input would be helpful as i'm out of ideas. Thanks guys

could be injector. try this, when the engine is running, take out the plug wires one at a time, see which one will change the car's idle. the one that doesn't change it needs to be replaced.

but what do i know. lol.

Where to look for the probable cause(s) of the misfires depends on when they occur. If the misfires are present only at very low engine speeds or idle, the most likely causes will be intake leaks, leaking injectors, or an aged (over 100k) O2 sensor. If they only occur at mid to high engine speeds the most likely cause will be the timing reference data or fuel delivery.

That said, things to do or check include rail fuel pressure, the ECT sensor & engine temperature, replace the O2 sensor if aged, adjust the valves, and have a smoke test run to see if there are any intake leaks.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
