but the parcel tray in the back...what do the vents in the back do and whats that little triangles purpose?

Heater to defrost windows maybe.
And a seatbelt comes out of that for M3's and/or verts, I think.
I'm probably wrong.

ohh so its just a bolt point for center shoulder strap...that makes sense.

were the vents just an option to have a heater/defrost? cause they don't seem to go to anything i can tell.

The triangle is to clip the middle lap belt when not in use.

The little vents don't do anything.

I don't know if I'd be anchoring my baby's seat to cardboard though.

I always thought the vents were for air recirculation or to disperse it out of the cabin (racecar). I may have even read that somewhere...don't remember. The triangle is for the center lap belt. Since M3's don't have a center seat, there isn't one in the M3's.
