    motor/engine mounts threads

So i bought a motor mount a while back to replace one that is broke, I probably should have ordered two. Anyways, I ordered part 11-81-1-132-323, made by hamburg technic from pelican parts. The motor mount appears to have no threads, or rather they are coated in rubber . I havent opened the bag containing the part in case i need to send it back. Do you normally have to cut off rubber?

New one on me- sometimes there's a bit of rubber over the last few
threads. Call (or email) Pelican- that's why you buy things from them.

They're great about things like this.

now, sometimes I just mess with people. It's more entertaining that way. george graves

Yeah the video is private. The motor mount looks exactly like in that photo, where as on my broken motor mount the threads are exposed like this one on pelican's website.
