E30 chip

I've decided that my next modification I want to get is a chip, but I don't know where to start looking. I have a 1987 325is with an M20B25 engine. I want a decent chip that isn't too pricey. Actually any chip would be fine as long as it doesn't suck shit but nicer ones would be cool too. Any help would be nice.:)

You can buy legitimate alpina chips for like 40$ they went out of business.

Ill post up pics of it tomr, i could be wrong about it being an Alpina chip, i googled it and thats what came up so i dunno

This car came with a 153 DME and it may be difficult to find a chip for that DME. You probably need to swap in a 173 ME, for which chips are readily available.

Definite second on supporting Mark D.

His chip consistently has the best reviews, and he's constantly tweaking the chips each year to make them better. I seriously doubt an ebay chip could come close to his, and worse, I'd fear that any chip that's been programmed by lord-knows-who could be detrimental to my car.

Stay away from Ebay chips, especially if they advertise an instant 50hp boost to your 135hp car.

Forum classifieds too. I just sold my genuine Dinan chip but at least you have BMW owners who actually tried and used product vs some sketchy ebay stuff.
