    brake lights staying on

So, I put the car in accessory mode before even starting and my brake lights are staying on. the warning indicator in the overhead is telling me brakes. So I go out to look and sure enough lights stay on regardless of whether the pedal is being applied or not.

any suggestions would be helpful. thx.

This. I may have the switch on a parts car if you need it and its the same for an auto trans late model as what you have.

If you've made any adjustments, the pedal may not be contacting the switch or one of the connectors may have come loose. Try to adjust it before replacing it.

They can get stuck with age/dirt etc. just replace it, theyre like $10-20 and should last another 10-20 years...
