    Help identify those connectors

As I was inspecting the water hoses for my upcoming maintenance extravaganza, I found two lonely unplug connectors, one by the fuse box, the other on the vicinity of the alternator.

Haynes electrical schematics were utterly useless at shedding some light.

Car is a 2 doors 01/88 325is 5 speed, more details in build thread (see sig).

    The one by the fusebox:

The one in alternator vicinity, this one is actualy not at the end of the wire, the wire runs through the connector:

Sadly I don't have the parts car to check anymore.

Maybe I missed it but a little more info on your car would be helpful. Year, engine, and whatnot.

First one is an unused connector for the OBC alarm.

Second doesn't actually appear to be a connector, but some sort of splice block with screw terminals.

Any idea if something is supposed to connect to that splice block?
