had an issue with both m10 cars i used to own. Both ended up as poor connections to the ECU coolant temp sensor. Check the sensor itself, but take a good look at the connection. sometimes the metal connectors get pushed up into the plastic plug and dont make a good contact.

        cap/rotor
        Vacuum leak
bad fuel filter (have you changed it since you bought the car? You should.)
        low fuel pressure
bad throttle position sensor or wot switch (whatever it has, never dealt with L-jet)
        bad fuel pimp
        ICV (if L-jet uses one)
        AFM
        DME

Check/replace these things in order of cost. It really couldnt be anything else
Tend to agree with the above statement...You have done the Cap/Rotor and vacuum leak and plugs and wires, now It sound like a fuel delivery issue.

But you said the plugs were fouled? Are they the right heat range?

my mechanic said that they were all clogged and what not.

this was also about a week after my first autox where i drove the car pertty hard.

But he just put another set of ngks in it and its still doing it. i supose its the right heat range.
