    1) Battery negative to chassis
    2) Alternator to battery positive
    3) Chassis to engine

Make sure to fuse #2 with a large fuse. The fuse should be sized to match the max ampacity of your wire, not the output capability of your alternator.

    I will use 0 gauge and a 300A fuse.

I also don't understand why these "kits" are so expensive..... Spend $15 for 20' of 4 awg, another $10 for terminals, and bam... you're done, and you've saved well over a hundred bucks....

Give it a couple months and bam... your kit will have distroyed itself.

your kit is basically what ryan_george described, except we don't need to do any work as yours are pre-cut to the right dimensions, no?

So our DIY will somehow explode to its unnatural and agonizing death, but your kit, someone superior in quality will withstand from supernatural extinction?

          Explain, please.

Ha! My grounding kit out-grounds all of yours -- for the simplest, purest path to ground, I simply run a heavy gauge wire from my positive terminal to my negative terminal.

              Voilá! Maximum Groundage!

Yes, I'd also like to know how my wire and terminals are different from your wire and terminals. :ohsnap:

Just go to a local parts place and pick up either just the wires and then terminate them, or you cna buy them at a pre set length, even tho woven metal ones for the motor grounds and such. Just my .02 cents
