Just make your own ground kit. Not hard.

I grounded my engine via 4 straps. Didn't notice any difference, but couldn't hurt.

The idea is to ensure the purest path to ground possible, for the hottest spark possible, for the most power output possible.

      Thats the idea anyways.

which is exactly why i said "why"... no1 notices any difference, plus these are BMW, not fords...our cars were engineered using better materials from the get-go...

                not true

it will atleast help with electrical, i know in the car audio world the two biggest things you can do is get a deep cycle battery and do what they call the "big 3 upgrade" which consists of replacing the alt to battery cable, battery ground cable, and the engine ground cable.

i did it to my car and noticed a big differnce, my headlights dont dim with bass anymore

On a car with a lot of amperage draw (i.e. a big audio system) it would help. On a basically stock car with an aftermarket headunit (radio) it isnt worth it.

                  Will

Anyways, if someone made a E30 specific grounding kit, I would buy it. Sounds like a big scam, but it made a nice improvement on my past car, and would risk trying it again. They aren't all that expensive either.

A couple of years ago, European Car magazine did a test on these grounding kits and found no performance increase at all (back to back dynos). The test was done on a VW Golf as I remember. Not saying it doesn't help a stereo system, but don't expect any HP increases as most of the kits advertise.

i would be game if it got rid of my sterio whine...

that was probably the funniest thread i have read in quite some time...
simply amazing that somone will try to push a product without any proven information on it... and when somone steps up to challenge the claimed gains of the "kit" the seller throws a hissy fit and starts swearing at the potential customers... now i have learned anything in my almost 20 years of life, and first year business, that is, that you do not swear at your customers, nor do you throw hissy fits at them because they do not take your "word" as a matter-of-fact....

im gona email him see what i can figure out...
