Check engine light on out of no where?

So out no where my check engine light is flashing and my engine oil light on my check panel is on? Checked engine and it's fine...

Is the light that is flashing in the center of the cluster or on the left bottom. In the former case the light is the check panel alert and would be flashing because the oil level alert in the check panel is on.

The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

No it's in the center between the tach and speedo. I'm pretty sure the engine level sensor is triggering the check engine light. I'm working on finding broken wires

Yep, that light is flashing because the oil level alert in the check panel is on. My first suspicions would be a bad connection to the sensor or a bad sensor.

it's not a check engine light. it's a check panel light. it's telling you that you need to look at the check panel. the check panel is telling you that your engine level is low (or the sensor/wires are toast).

Alrite, well could you tell me where the wires originate so that I can see about running them to the sensor? Then from there I could tell if the sensor is bad
