what if you just cut a small portion of the z3 1.9 lever off the top with a dremel or something like that? Just dont cut too much and make sure that if you use an oem knob to notch the middle so that way the knob wont come off. when i had my integ i had a ssk but the lever was still too long so i trimmed almost a 1/4 in off the top and got a shorter knob it seems logical to do that also.

More effort than its worth. If its too tall, get a shorter knob or lever.BEERTECH

Z3.0 is quite notchy, but with any driver, adaptation is part of the enjoyment of modification.
Every day I wake up we drink a lot of coffee and watch the CNN
Every day I wake up to a bowl of clover honey and let the locusts fly in.
Lobsterbacks attack the town again
Wrap all my things in aluminum
Beams of darkness streak across the sky
Pink rays from the ancient satellite
Every time I look out my window same three dogs looking back at me.
Every time I open my windows cranes fly in to terrorize me.

I put in a Z3 2.8/3.0 lever. I was amazed at how much quicker I could shift. However, it is harder to put into first and reverse now. After a few weeks with the new shifter, I am use to its short throws and now I want something shorter.
I purchased this lever because I heard it wasn't too notchy and that it was about the same height.
