    Air Flow Meter Alternatives?

I'm not trying to sound noob, but, are there any alternatives for that AFM in our e30s? Like some MAF conversion or anything? Something that would just convert a sensor signal to something similar to what a AFM puts out?

What item is this, and where would I go about purchasing?

Piggy back engine management and a M52 HFM.

        I have UniChip and a M52 HFM.

Expect to pay ~450 for the UniChip unit, $50 for the HFM, and ~2hrs of tuning labor plus dyno rental time.

I bought a new one. The minerals in the water, along with the cast iron metal particles in the block permanently stain the tank over time.

Its like $30-60 depending on your hookup.

you can get M52 HFM for alot cheaper than $50, i am getting mine plus E36 TPS for $40 shipped, you can use Apexi SAFC2 for only $219 off ebay, and you can dyno tune for one hour probably. so its cheaper than most people think.

Dyno tune- is that done by a pro? Because I'm not exactly familiar how to do it my self.

Well it would have to be done by someone that is familiar with the piggyback computer you use (Unichip, Apexi SAFC2, SMT6, etc).
