    Installing a front strut

Hi there, is there anything special i need to know, or any advice you all recomend before i install my eibach front strut bar, do i just unscrew the bolts then put the bar on top and retighten them? this is my first time doing something like this, i have searched online but not that many options for our cars.

Having never done this, I do believe that it is that easy. Especially if you're on a stock suspension it should go perfectly fine. Even if you're not I doubt you'll have any issues.
The first car I ever rode in was an e30

      Just as you said.
Your car isn't going to fall apart if you unbolt those 3 nuts on the strut tower.

You may need to jack the car up to get it to fit as the weight of the car does decrease the distance between the strut towers. Jacking up the middle lets the towers droop outward.

Just wondering, but shouldn't you be a little concerned if you have to do this to fit your bar?

Not really. I mean, the point of the bar is to prevent the car from doing this sort of thing. If it didn't flex like it does, there would be no need for a bar.

And we are only taking a very small amount of movement. It's not like it moves a 1/4" or more or something, just a few 32nds of an inch if that.

stock suspension is the hardest... buy spring compressors if you need to change springs

Just installed a strut bar, jack up the car from the center of the front subframe. Still might need a tad of massaging to go on, but it will.

Read the original post, he's installing a strut bar, not new springs.

Just curious, are verts and coupes strut bars interchangeable. Or do verts have a different size?
