Fuse 6 blows: cc, brake lights, abs, interior lights

On my 88is fuse 6 keeps blowing. It blows as soon as a new fuse goes in and I turn the key to accy or run. I've traced the things that are attached to that fuse but cant find causation. I've unPlugged all the units and fuse still blows. I thought it could be the rear check light relay but was not. Any other relay i'm not thinking about?

    Any other ideas?

    On the fuse:
Interior lights, actually maybe just the map light mirror.
    Cruise control
    Abs
    Brake lights.

Either there is something powered by that fuse that you haven't checked, or there is a wiring fault.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Wiring could be shorted to ground. BMW's are well known to have shorted or failed isolation at the harness near rear taillights. Inspect that area well. If nothing, remove front rear seats and inspect harnesses leading to rear of car also along and leading to each interior light on the circuit.
