    Auxiliary fan/blower fan/ a/c issues..HELP!!

This is on my m30 swapped car running an aftermarket cooling fan tapped into the factory auxiliary fan plug and using a 318ti thermo switch. My fan will not kick on automatically and I have no power to my a/c switch inside or the blower motor. I am assuming these issues are related. I have checked the fuses multiple times and I swapped out relays K1 and K6 with ones I had laying around and it still doesn't work.....

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks, Tyler.

Are the unloader relays closing? Early cars have the unloader relays engaged with the ignition, but later production routes the ground for the relay coils through the unloader switch in the starter solenoid. If that wire isn't connected or the unloader switch is bad the relays won't engage.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Where are those relays and wire??

The unloader relays are in the fusebox. On a late model car that has the starter with unloader switch the wire comes out of the engine harness, along with the starter solenoid wire. That connection goes through C101 to the fusebox.

Are K1 and K6 the unloader relays? Those are the ones I swapped out for others I had..

swapped out the auxiliary fan and unloader relays with others I had laying around and still nothing. No power to a/c button or blower motor. Very odd, cause this stuff worked before the swap..

Should I just hear a click? Is that right when the ignition is on also?

You should be able to hear/feel the unloader relay close when the ignition is switched on.

I do not hear/feel the relays kick on with the ignition.

Well, that would be a problem. My guess is that during the M30 swap the car lost the unloader control circuit. Since I don't know exactly what parts were used and what mods were done it is hard to say what to do next. If the engine harness doesn't have an unloader control wire (along with the starter solenoid control wire). You will have to do some rewiring to get the unloader relays to close.

I am using a m30b35 harness. Only mod done to the harness was splicing a couple wires for a miller maf mod. Is the said wire a blk/gold wire attached to the starter solenoid? If so, it is there and hooked up to the bottom post on the solenoid.

The black/Yellow wire from the harness is the starter solenoid control. A late production E30 harness has a black/green wire for unloader relay control. That wire may not be present in the M30 harness. In which case you'll need to spice a wire in on the body side of C101 to pin 15 and ground it.
