    Have you replaced the fuel filter? Is there only one fuel filter? I would check to make sure there isn't another one hiding somewhere in the frame rail. You might want to check for fuel pressure in the pump housing. Should be somewhere around 10-12 psi. I'm not talking about the injection pressure in the hard lines to the head, I'm talking about the pump housing pressure. You'll need a t fitting so you can t into the supply line at the pump. Does it smoke while your cranking it over?

      And get the timing dead on with dial indicator so you know your right and you don't have to keep second guessing if its the timing or not.
