Hello, I came across I hope is a small probblem yesterday with my 90 e30, as I parked my car to pick up my daughter, when I came back out we noticed fluid on the ground, I opened the hood and checked the to see we're it's leaking from, it's not from the water pump, but on the side of the block, same side as we're the fuse box is located, I'm guessing by the coolant drain bolt? Any suggestions?

How high was your coolant level in the expansion tank? If you overfilled the system it will leave a puddle after the engine gets hot. In the worst case, did you check for air in the coolant system? Hopefully, you head gasket is not shot. -

well nothing can be said without a thorough visual inspection of everything. just need someone that is familiar with cars that knows what to look for. if you were closer i could probably look at it for you- but im out in MoVal and have no gas monies :(-FREEDOM- is cruisin at 80, windows down and listening to the perfect song-thinking "this is it"

On the video you can see when i squeeze the hose, that an air bubble is created on that attachment that is conected to the throttle body, im hoping this is an easy fix, as i need this car for work tomorrow......Comment

It sounds like your leak is from the throttle body heater. You can get a new gasket from your dealer or on-line vendor. In the meantime, disconnect the hoses from the throttle body and loop them.The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

You can permanently bypass the TB heater by using a barbed hose coupler (3/8"?) and a couple of hose clamps of the proper size to insure the hoses do not disconnect.Comment
