    speedometer dash wires

    Hey guys.

I had my instrument cluster out of the '87 to repair the odometer and polish the lens.

In my rush to take it out, I forgot to document where the 2 wire went into the 3 slots on the speedometer connector. One wire has a label over the sheath with some numbering on it; the other does not. Both have similar connectors that connect to one pin.

What are these two wires and which slots do they connect to?

    Thanks in advance.

    nm...found the answer: http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=196383

So if one of the wires is for cruise control, what's the other wire for?

Also noticed my ABS light went off. I don't know if that's because i reconnected something incorrectly or i fixed something :D.

One of those wires is the signal from the speed sensor. The other is that signal's feed to the OBC & cruise.

The cluster has nothing to do with the ABS other than holding the warning bulb.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
