BuddiesWithJesus and I are looking to fabricate some IX strut bars. I want to check and make sure everyone is running about the same distance from center of strut tower to center of strut tower. I will be using my brother's IX as a test car, and I don't want to run into a carbon fiber hood incident here. If you could post the measurments of your vehicle it would be much appreciated.

Cant get measurement at this time, car is getting new head but they will all be a bit diffrent from mileage. Also Im not sure if an iX strut bar is such a good idea in the first place. The suspension in an iX is at 90 degrees where as the 325is is at 75 degrees. Just aftermarket susp on iXs can snap strut towers because of this design. You know, I actually have a Weicher's strut brace for my sister's 1991 e30 Dinan 325iX that I have not had the time to install yet. If you wanted a template for production, I could "loan" it to whomever. PM me if you'd like to discuss this. (Sorry for the pic size, I'm teh suck at re-sizing pics)
