    E30 wheel spacer

    Dear friends,
I'm considering getting a wheel spacer for my car. Can a 8mm wheel spacer uses the old bolts and BMW wheel bolt lock?
    Best Regards,

    Any spacer requires longer lugs.

Here is the rule (although I would apply it to wheel lugs/studs at your own risk)

If the length of engaged threads is equal to 1/2 the diameter of the threaded bolt, maximum strength has been achieved.

For our lug bolts, thats about 3.5-4 threads. I like to make sure my lugs are threaded in to the back of the hub, if not 1-2 threads past that. Too much more then that will result in the end of the lug striking the ABS sensor in the front, and striking ebrake hardware in he back.
