    The pump only runs when the engine is turning. Have you checked to see if there is power at fuse 11 when cranking (and that the fuse is good)?

    How many pumps the car has depends on what car you have. What car is this.
    The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

      Idle continued

      According to the Real OEM site only one pump in the tank. Before I did the test with the pressure gauge the engine was cranked and fuel did flow. Would it be fair to assume that when the hose to the rail is disconnected some flow would occur with minimal pressure?

        If the pump. Is good and working a lot of fuel will be released when you disconnect the supply line after cranking the engine.
        The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
