Interior Fans and Gauges Went Out

    Hey Guys,

The strangest thing recently happened... Everything was working well earlier in the day, had been driving around for a few hours with no problems. When I started the car later that day it started with no problems, suddenly the gauge cluster and fans died.

The only gauges working is the speedometer, and the Odometer. No fans work, all interior lights work, all exterior lights work.

Any ideas? Not sure where to start.

Fuse # 10. Most likely your reverse light switch/wiring/plug is shorting it out. Just happened to me a week and a half ago on a 100° Texas afternoon.

Lift up your shift boot and unplug the reverse light switch and replace the fuse. Order new wires and drive around like me, an ass, with no reverse lights for a week.

Sometimes fuses look okay, but the only true test is to replace it with a new one. Theyre like 75¢ so it shouldnt be a big deal to just replace it. Good luck!

Turn ignition on, measure each side of every fuse with a test light. Each side should match, 0 volts on each side or 12 volts on each side.

Find one with 12v on one side and 0 volts on the other? that's your bad fuse.
