Driveshaft shimmy: csb or bad ujoints?

So my new eta has a bit of a shimmy from the mid driveshaft area in 1st and 2nd gear at low rpms.

Is this most likely to be a bad csb or do I need to replace the shaft due to bad u joints?

Sounds like csb to me, especially since u said it was coming from the mid shaft area.

Inspect the CSB to see if the rubber mount has failed. If so, the cause of that failure is almost always bad u-joints in drive shaft. In which case you replace both.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
